Role Overview

The Campus Recruiter and Coordinator role will play an integral part in supporting both the Talent Acquisition team and the office’s campus recruitment and selection efforts. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for an entry-level professional to gain comprehensive exposure to the entire recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, selection, onboarding, and development processes. Under the direct mentorship of the Director of Talent Acquisition and in partnership with the Director of Internship & Development, the Campus Recruiter & Coordinator will execute strategic recruiting plans aimed at meeting selection activity, intern contract, and conversion goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional communication abilities, enabling effective interaction with a diverse array of individuals.

Responsibilities

Recruitment Campaigns & Sourcing

· Coordinate and Execute Promotions: Plan and manage recruitment promotions, campaigns, events, and career fairs.

· Sourcing Candidates: Leverage recruiting job boards, social media, referrals, Centers of Influence (COI), and other networks to source quality candidates.

· Campus Engagement: Actively participate in campus clubs and organizations to promote the firm, coordinate on-campus recruiting activities, and build relationships with COIs, professors, department heads, and career services.

· Advertising and Marketing: Implement advertising and marketing strategies on campus, including career services websites, online job postings, and community events.

· Networking: Develop relationships with other recruiters within the firm to share leads and best practices.

Selection Process

· Initial Screening: Review resumes, schedule initial interviews, and conduct preliminary candidate screenings.

· Selection Tools: Administer selection tools and guide candidates through each step of the recruitment process.

· Candidate Communication: Effectively communicate the details of the financial representative career and the selection process to candidates.

· Face of the Firm: Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates visiting the office, providing tours, and ensuring a welcoming experience.

Administrative & Reporting

· Database Management: Maintain the candidate database, ensuring it is up to date with meeting outcomes and other relevant data.

· Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate reports on recruitment, onboarding, and development activities. Analyze recruiting ratios to identify and implement process improvements.

· Support: Provide administrative support to the Director of Talent Acquisition, manage team calendars and appointments, and oversee team expenses and credit card receipts.

· Recognition Systems: Coordinate weekly and monthly recognition systems for the talent acquisition team, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.

Other Duties

· Team Development: Assist in the coordination of training sessions for the talent acquisition team, and facilitate the onboarding process for new Talent Acquisition Specialists.

· Ongoing Learning: Engage in continuous training and development to enhance sourcing capabilities and stay updated on industry best practices.

Results & Expectations

· LinkedIn Outreach: Send 15 messages per day on LinkedIn to support the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist and Director of Recruitment.

· Activity Metrics: Partner with the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist and Director of Recruitment to meet weekly and monthly activity standards, contributing to initial recruitment efforts.

· Report Accuracy: Ensure timely and error-free completion and submission of all necessary reports.

Qualifications

· 1 – 3 years of experience in sales, recruiting, or business related fields.

· Experience in the Financial Services Industry preferred.

· Bachelor’s degree preferred, in business or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible work experience.

· Experience in prospecting & generating leads.

· Demonstrated ability to work professionally within a team and engage with all levels of stakeholders.

· Proficiency with sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and Handshake.

· Strong personal & professional networks, particularly within campus communities.

· High degree of initiative and organization.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.

· Ability to embrace change and work in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to be flexible and open minded.

· Willingness to learn.

Location: Hybrid: 3x a week in Midtown office

Hours: 9am-5pm

Salary: 60-68k
