Cloud Database Architect Job Locations: US-DC-Home Requisition ID: 2025-156802 Position Category: Information Technology Clearance: Public Trust Responsibilities Peraton has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cloud Database Architect to support a critical agency within the Federal Government, working within the Office of Information Technology (OCIO). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or Engineering. You are a strong collaborator committed to ensuring the safety and security of our nation. You will be a key personnel leading support for a suite of government-developed information systems designed to support the agency's mission. This position is located in the Washington, DC/MD/VA area. Responsibilities include: Designing and managing the agency's data infrastructure. Leading the development of robust database designs for efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis, ensuring compatibility and interoperability among various data sources and systems used across the agency. Collaborating closely with other IT teams and stakeholders to shape the agency's data architecture to effectively support its mission. Note: Position contingent on contract award. Qualifications 8 years of experience with a BS/BA; 6 years with an MS/MA 8 years of experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Professional Certification required Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting work Experience interfacing with and responding to customer needs, preferably in a federal government environment Strong communication skills for effective interaction with both technical and non-technical staff U.S. Citizenship is required Peraton Overview Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence worldwide.
