Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to support our Growth Team. The role involves managing complex projects related to financial stability, data collection, research, risk measurement, and regulatory support, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Serve as the primary Project Manager contact for all issues during contract performance.
  • Make contractual decisions on behalf of the Contractor.
  • Ensure all resources, personnel, and equipment are provided.
  • Develop and implement project management policies and approaches.
  • Conduct project reviews and audits for compliance and improvements.
  • Lead large, complex projects, aligning with objectives and timelines.

Project Reporting

  • Prepare Monthly and Weekly Project Status Reports for the COR.
  • Notify the COR when project costs approach 75% of the ceiling price.

Project Planning and Scheduling

  • Create and review Project Plans and Schedules.
  • Update plans weekly and report deviations.
  • Ensure SDLC compliance and provide milestone recommendations.

Risk Management

  • Maintain a Risk Registry and notify the COR of major risks.
  • Develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions.

Requirements Management

  • Support requirements development and review.
  • Monitor development to meet requirements and conduct validation sessions.

Configuration Management

  • Review and monitor configuration management plans and processes.

Quality Assurance and Control

  • Review Quality Control Plans and monitor QA processes.

SDLC Support

  • Create and review SDLC artifacts and documents.
  • Provide weekly feedback and notify of issues.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Analyze problems, develop solutions, and participate in stakeholder sessions.
  • Communicate project status and strategic recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Business, Finance, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of IT project management experience.
  • PMI or equivalent certification required.
  • Knowledge Management and Change Management certifications preferred.
  • Agile and Scrum certifications preferred.
  • ITIL or similar service management certification a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, SharePoint, Visio, MS Office.
  • Experience with cross-functional consulting teams.
  • Strong knowledge of contingency planning for federal systems.
  • Expertise in knowledge management and change frameworks.
  • Experience managing federal financial regulatory projects.
  • Strong governance and risk management background.

Compensation and Benefits

The projected annual salary is $185,900, benchmarked for Washington, D.C. The actual salary depends on experience, education, skills, and certifications. LCG offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, paid leave, holidays, and professional development.
